Discussion of Joint Meeting with School Committee
The Finance Committee will have a joint meeting with the School Committee on May 31st at 7:30pm to discuss the superintendent’s strategic plan, which would form the basis for an override.
Timing of Override Vote
The chair will discuss with the Select Board chair when the Select Board will vote on the override. If the Select Board votes on June 5th, the Finance Committee will meet on June 7th to discuss and vote on the override. This June 7th meeting will also be when the Finance Committee elects new officers. If the Select Board does not vote on June 5th, the Finance Committee should keep June 12th and 14th open as potential meeting dates to discuss and vote on the override.
End of Month Meeting
At the end of June, the Finance Committee will need to meet to discuss reserve transfers. The chair hopes this will be a fully remote meeting.

The Finance Committee will meet on:
– May 31st – Joint meeting with School Committee
– June 7th (potentially) – Override vote and officer elections
– June 12th or 14th (potentially) – Override vote if not on June 7th
– End of June – Reserve transfers
The annual wrap up dinner remains scheduled for June 21st.
