Budget Articles and Items
The committee discussed upcoming budget articles to be presented at the Town Meeting on Monday. The composting kids will be presenting their article, which is expected to be brief as long as the discussion stays focused.
Town Meeting Dinner
The committee discussed plans for a dinner on June 21. Tara Bradley is collecting responses about attendance and dietary restrictions.
Election of Officers
The committee discussed potential dates for electing officers. They are waiting for the School Committee to finalize their superintendent’s strategic plan before the Select Board can vote on an override. After the Select Board votes, the finance committee will vote on whether to support the override. Tentative dates discussed were May 14 or June 12.
